Is Medieval Stucco a 21st Century Canvas?

Posted on 2019-02-172019-02-18 by Curtis Hertwig

So I have another day in Lisbon, but I have logged over 20k steps and traveled to the exurbs of Sintra & Cascais and I can say without fear of contradiction that murals and graffiti are abundant.

I don’t know if they are encouraged or that the powers that be have just given up. I have seen tags by the Antifas and others that are more esoteric. As always I prefer the more artistic. Of course, by “artistic” I mean “I couldn’t do that”, which is always my measure of what is art and what is not.

Tomorrow I head for Madrid, so picture taking is done. Here is the gallery from Lisbon – https://adobe.ly/2SYzZod
