We visited the kasbah inside which was a city from the Roman era. This image shows the mihrab from a Roman era mosque. It is surprising how stone just lying around have survived especially considering that native buildings have all just melted into the ground when their mud bricks came.
We all intuitively know what this door says. Assholes who park where they shouldn’t are worldwide problems. But so are homeowners who know their signs don’t apply to them. The rest of us are left being as judgmental as God wants us to be.
It’s too bad I never figured out how to make a living at it.
So Morrocco is pretty much run by a king. His decrees are law and his is “president” of the judicial council and he has veto power on legislation. Still they have one of the best standards of living in Africa – neck and neck with South Africa & Egypt. A lot can be forgiven for that.
