Sorry, I’ve been recalcitrant in writing this post, but it has been too hot to sit inside and type.
Back in July I spent most of the month in Europe centered around 2 things – the Tour de France & visiting new countries. While 2 of the countries I’d intended to visit didn’t happen, the Tour de France was fun and I still got to visit new places.
So, the trip started in Basque Country of Spain, which purely by coincidence (NOT), is where the Tour de France started this year. (For those of you who don’t follow Le Tour it starts in a neighboring country a lot and then moves into France. In 2024, it will start in Florence, Italy.)
Here is an outline of the trip:
- Bilbao, Spain – Stages 1-3
- Luxembourg
- Toulouse, France
- Marseilles, France
- Monte Carlo, Monaco
- Torino, Italy
- Evian des les Bains, France – 2 more stages
- Zurich, Switzerland
- Vienna, Austria
Enough of that, here are the pictures.
